Work Experience at The Herald

The Herald is the world's longest-standing national newspaper and is a broadsheet publication part of the NewsQuest group. 

This week I am completing some work experience in the sports newsroom. So far, I've had to research, write, and edit opinion pieces. Yesterday, I went to Hampden to interview Ryan Porteous on the next round of Euro qualification matches. 

Today, I am in the office working on the sports news desk. I have had my first byline in The Herald and The Glasgow Times. Furthermore, I have also looked at how The Herald best optimises their SEOs on their website for free and subscription content. 

Over the next few days, I am working on a feature discussing girls, football, and their kit.
